This page contains instructions on how to access your university Gmail using Thunderbird.

If you have not already done so, you must create a Google Desktop password.
Log on here to access your UMN Internet Account Options.
Click on “Set or Change Your Google Desktop / Mobile Client Password
Fill out the form, then click Submit.
